Axnify
Axnify vs Sylius

Enterprise B2B. Without staffing a Symfony team.

Sylius is a powerful PHP/Symfony commerce framework with strong B2B primitives. It's also a framework — implementation is a development project, not an installation. Axnify covers the same B2B ground as a managed product.

TL;DR

Sylius is excellent for agencies and enterprises with dedicated PHP/Symfony developers building bespoke B2B platforms. Axnify is a fit when 'we want B2B commerce features' shouldn't require 'we hire a Symfony team'.

Where Sylius wins

We're not pretending we're the right tool for every store. Here's where the alternative is genuinely stronger.

Bespoke commerce models

Sylius is a framework, not a product. Need a marketplace with complex split payouts? An auction model? A subscription-box configurator? Sylius lets developers build any commerce model from primitives.

Mature B2B Plus features

Customer-segmented price lists, complex order approval workflows, multi-source inventory — Sylius Plus covers ground we're still implementing.

Code-level control

Symfony source code is yours to extend. We're API-first but our platform is closed-source.

Why merchants move to Axnify
  • Sylius Plus quote came in at €60k/year for a 50-product store
  • Wanted B2B features without a 6-month agency engagement
  • Didn't have Symfony engineers and didn't want to hire any
  • Needed a working store this quarter, not next year

Frequently asked

Does Axnify support customer-group pricing like Sylius Plus?

Partner programs cover the most common wholesale tiered-pricing use cases. Full customer-group pricing matrices (every group, every product, custom rules) are on the roadmap. If this is critical to your business today, Sylius Plus or BigCommerce B2B Edition still have the edge.

What about multi-source inventory (multiple warehouses)?

Single-source inventory today; multi-source warehousing is in the planned roadmap. If you ship from multiple physical locations and need stock allocation logic per warehouse, factor this in.

Can I build a marketplace on Axnify?

Multi-vendor / marketplace models aren't directly supported. Sylius is more flexible here. If your product is a marketplace (not a multi-store retailer), Sylius or a marketplace-specific platform is the better fit.

Can you help me move my data from another platform?

Absolutely. Email support@axnify.com with the export file from your current platform — we accept Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, Squarespace, Big Cartel, Gumroad, Sellfy and most other common formats. Our team handles the migration of your products, variants, customers and orders end-to-end, free of charge for standard imports.
